Job Title: Operation Supervisor
Department: Operation
Location: Suhar, Oman
Reporting To: Operation Manager
Job Purpose: To oversee and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel at the site, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, in compliance with standards, and in alignment with customer expectations and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational & Workforce Management
• Develop and implement daily and weekly work schedules to meet operational demands.
• Clearly communicate job responsibilities, including the use of equipment and materials.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance performance and safety awareness.
• Manage employee training and ensure proper operation of machinery and equipment.
• Recommend improvements to production processes and equipment efficiency.
• Drive achievement of performance targets and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor and report daily site progress and operational metrics.
• Continuously review procedures to identify and implement process improvements.
• Supervise day-to-day plant and field operations.
• Uphold high safety standards across all work areas.
• Participate in operational meetings and planning sessions.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
Communication & Collaboration
• Liaise with the Operations Manager, Site Manager, and other support teams to address operational challenges and ensure smooth workflow.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs.
Qualifications: Education:
• Minimum Diploma in any discipline or General Education Degree (GED). Higher education qualifications are an advantage.
Experience & Competencies:
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar operational role.
• Strong skills in planning, organizing, and executing operational tasks.
• Solid technical and procedural knowledge relevant to site operations.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and verbal).
• Physically fit and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage operational strategies successfully.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, PowerPoint, Report generation, Word & Excel Role.
