Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering.
Experience
6+ years of experience as a power cable design engineer / Diploma: 8+ years of experience as a power cable design engineer.
Skill/Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of IEC and BS standards
- Expertise in fictitious and manufacturing BOM calculations as per international standards
- Familiarity with GCC utility specifications
- Proficient in product design and BOM optimization
- Understanding of various manufacturing processes related to production
- Experience using CYMCAP software for performance analysis
- Skilled in preparing and verifying Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
- Ability to interpret and respond to technical customer requirements
- Capable of preparing technical offers and IC design documents in CA systems
- Knowledge of CA item codes, CA families, and manufacturing instructions for costing and production
- Experienced in reviewing and updating raw material specifications
- Strong communication skills for customer meetings and technical clarifications
- Able to provide technical documentation, data sheets, drawings, and deviation lists
- Support experience in ATL, NPD, DTC, and CSI activities
- Effective enquiry allocation and team coordination skills

Job Description
Support the Sales team by providing timely technical responses to customer enquiries
Understand and analyze customer technical requirements and design products accordingly
Match customer needs with the product range and provide technical feedback and support
Prepare and verify Bills of Materials (BOM) for various components using standards and manufacturing data
Develop and submit Inter-Company (IC) design proposals and offers using CA systems
Review CA families, item codes, and manufacturing instructions created by design engineers
Ensure BOM and design data align with fictitious and manufacturing calculations
- Review and update specifications for raw materials used in production
- Participate in technical meetings and communication with customers to clarify requirements
- Deliver supporting documents such as technical data sheets, drawings, and deviation lists
- Collaborate with ATL, New Product Development (NPD), DTC, and CSI teams on related activities
- Allocate incoming enquiries among team members and monitor their status and progress
- Contribute to the optimization of product design and BOM for cost-effectiveness and performance
